As car culture grew, so did the drive in theaters and Orange County, given its abundance of open space, was the perfect place for classic drive-ins to thrive. In Fountain Valley, Westminster, Orange, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, from families to first dates and everything in between, the drive-in movie theater became a huge part of the local cultural experience. We celebrate these long gone places along with other cinematic treasures.
